The Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) conducted a
stakeholder consultation meeting on April 25, 2024, at Druk Hotel on the
License Exemption Regulation of Solar Power Plants. The stakeholder presents
were from Department of Energy (DoE, MoENR), Department of Environment and
Climate Change (DoECC, MoENR), Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC), Bhutan
Power Corporation (BPC), Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI),
Dessung Skilling Program-Solar Initiative (DSP-SI) and JB Solar Solution.
