With the regulatory support received from the International Solar Alliance, through consultants Firstgreen and KPMG, India, the ERA organized a one-day Capacity Building Workshop on 28th August 2025 to strengthen the capacity of key stakeholders. The workshop sessions focused on critical areas including power market regulations, utility-scale project development, solar tariff determination, and the assessment of financial viability and mechanisms to support renewable energy initiatives. The session brought together representatives from the Department of Energy (DoE), Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC), Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC), the Royal Monetary Authority (RMA), Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Organic Solar, JB Solar, Bank of Bhutan limited (BOB), Rigsar Construction Private Limited, ZhenPhen Solar, and Metho Renewables.
