The Electricity Regulatory Authority would like to inform the Electricity Consumers, Licensee and Stakeholders that the Distribution Code Regulation 2025 have been approved by the Commission. This new regulation supersedes the Distribution Code (Amendment) Regulation 2022, and reflects the evolving needs of the electricity sector, incorporating provisions to support integration of renewable and DERs, enhancement of consumer service delivery, complaint handling mechanism and the rights and duties of Licensees and Consumers. It also aims to strengthen operational efficiency and ensure the regulation framework remains responsive and relevant to developments in the sector.The approved Distribution Code Regulation 2025 is now available on the ERA website and may be accessed for your compliance and kind information.
