Pursuant to Section 39 of the Licensing Regulation for Solar Power Plant 2024, the Electricity
Regulatory Authority (ERA) would like to notify the general public that this office has received
an application from M/s Nyi-Zer Energy Private Limited, Thimphu for the issuance of
construction, generation, operation and maintenance license for:
i. 12.5 MWp Solar PV Project located in Tenchekha under Paro/Thimphu Dzongkhag.
Therefore, the office would like to:
1. Inform the general public that 12.5 MWp Tenchekha Solar PV Project’s application is
available for inspection, within the limits of commercial confidentiality, at ERA
Secretariat during office hours with effect from 4 th August 2026 till 2 nd September 2026;
and
2. Invite directly affected parties and local authorities in areas affected by the Project who
object to granting the construction, generation, and operation and maintenance licence,
whether on personal, environmental or other grounds, to lodge with the Authority an
objection within 2 nd September 2026.
